only giving this place one star because of our waitress. she was super attentive and welcoming and remained professional in-spite of a turbulent dining experience. our food was delayed after having to correct our order several times and the food tastes as if the chef hates his job.

There for breakfast. Seated promptlyService was attentive. Food was very good. A nice variety on the breakfast menu. Prices were very reasonable.

Food is amazing. Owner is amazing also prices are great for the amount of food you get!

Ok place to eat with friends or for a quiet meal. Nothing spectacular about the food. Probably all prepackaged not homemade.

Wonderful hidden gem. Affordable, filling, wonderful staff. I've never felt so at home in a diner and this is the best!

They are very busy. The service is way to slow a friend of mine went to get menus we waited over an hour for our food and to be completely honest it wasn't worth over a hour waiting for it. Bad review 👎

The waitress was friendly and attended us well. The rice pudding was sour, not supposed to be.

Clean restaurant, clean restroom, friendly folks. Plenty of choices under $10 on the quite large menu. Bacon was a bit more crisp than preferred, but everyone’s got a different opinion on that. Very glad to have a hot sauce option besides Tabasco.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch on our way back home. Food was good, hot and and the waitress was really friendly and very helpful. Would recommend stopping here for a great meal.

Absolutely wonderful! The staff is very welcoming and we received excellent and prompt service. The food was great too! Even my 8 year old said “This is a nice place to eat. I’m glad we found it.”

The people are so friendly here and your coffee cup never goes empty. They serve breakfast all day. It's all good home cooked food including the soup and some od the salad dressing. I have yet to walk away hungry. Extensive senior menu and a great Friday fish fry. Downside is there hours, but we can live with them, Saturday to Thursday 6 AM - 3 PM. Friday is 6 AM - 9 PM.

Service was fast, food was very good and portion size was decent for the price. I would recommend visiting. We got Mediterranean egg sandwich and a steak fajita skillet.

Excellent waitress food was good nice and clean seats very comfortable couldn't ask for more. My friend and I both enjoyed it.

The prices are good, and the breakfast came fast! It's not terribly busy, even on a holiday. I'd come back for breakfast if I was on that side of town again.

Ordered curbside takeout fried chicken dinners. They did ask us to give them a little extra time but it was worth it. Quality was awesome! Everything (sides included) was still piping hot when I got it home. Generous portions, great taste! Southern style fried chicken done perfectly! Would definitely do it again.

Great food. Especially the Friday fish fry. But be prepared to eat a lot. You get lot of food with their fish fry.

Talk about hells kitchen. The potatoes were instant no doubt with to much liquid in them. The coleslaw was absolutely DISQUSTING!! fish was ok overcooked. My husband drink I think was made up. Yeah we went once and never again!!! They need major help🤔🤮🤢

Another fabulous local restaurant! Great food and fantastic service. We really enjoyed our visit. Its a cozy location that's easy to get to. The staff is amazing. We are so glad we came to try this place. Excellent home made cooking.

When we get to Madison we like to eat there. You will never leave there hungry, and the staff are always very happy, helpful and kind. The owner is always there, and he sincerely likes feedback. Great place, great food, and there menu is about 8 pages. There is food for ever walk of life. Go there and see.

Regular diner food. The exact greasy spoon you need for a hangover cure.

Staff are friendly, but maybe not as attentive as you'd like. One of our drinks didn't arrive until near the end of the meal, and was poorly made. Food was fairly good though, and the restaurant was clean.

Wow! Um... positive is food is fast. The staff is also nice. And that ends that. Couldn't finish the food as there was undercooked chicken and my tuna got to an odd taste. Soup options both had beef, no chicken or veggie options and no substitute. And the price for the meal was $30 for a soda, 2 sandwiches and 1 "complimentary " soup. No fries or anything. And the sandwiches are the size of what most people make at home. That atmosphere is kind of sad.Sorry, but I think World Buffet or McDonald's would have been better.
